Assistant Director of Athletics

Supervisor: Jeff Biddle, Vice President, Historic Dodgertown
-Assist Director of Athletics with day-to-day operation of department.
-Development and maintenance of HDT owned Youth Tournaments.
-Research and compile mailing/email blast lists of coaches, managers, athletic department personnel, etc., for distributing sales collateral materials; coordinate and execute direct mail marketing efforts.
-Assist marketing with outreach and sales calls to amateur, high school, collegiate and professional athletic organizations.
-Assist with the Group License Agreement process.
-Oversee the day-to-day operation of HDT College and High School Spring Training programs.
-Act as a liaison between onsite clients and HDT staff.
-Assist Communications with content and review of promotional/sales collateral materials as well as print and digital advertisements promoting HDTevents and facilities.
-Other duties as needed.
Skills: Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience;
Prior experience in tournament sales and operations required (minimum of two years);
Excellent communication and writing skills required, including familiarity with
writing promotional copy and business materials;
Proficiency in MS Office Suite required;
Hard working, self-starter with good organizational skills and professional demeanor.
Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
